  • Glass Town Countdown

We are proud to partner with Lancaster Parks & Recreation, Visit Fairfield County, and Destination Downtown Lancaster for this epic NYE celebration each year with a finale that celebrates GLASS! Sign up HERE!

Join us for a family-friendly street party where you will taste fantastic food and spirits at local restaurants and pubs, watch the ascent of the giant glass globe, and light up the sky with a spectacular fireworks show!

This event celebrates the importance of glass in Lancaster’s history as the community creates a beautiful piece of glass art for this fun party. The globe is a traveling piece of art until New Year’s Eve when it rises high above Zane’s Square and rings in the new year.

To create an ornament to be displayed on the globe, sign up for a Glass Town Countdown ornament class HERE. These classes take place at the Ohio Glass Museum in Lancaster. You can also purchase an ornament online at the Ohio Glass Museum website or purchase an ornament in person at the museum gift shop.

To learn more about this event, visit the Glass Town Countdown Facebook page.
